During an exclusive demo at CES, Roborock showcased the Saros Z70 picking up a sock and placing it into a basket, demonstrating how it can automatically clear obstacles and tidy up spaces while cleaning. This innovative feature means that the robot doesn’t just clean around objects—it actively moves them to create a clear path, offering a level of autonomy that makes your home cleaner and more organized without any extra effort.
But that’s not all. The Saros Z70 is Roborock’s slimmest robot vacuum to date, measuring just 7.98 cm (3.1 inches) in height. This sleek design allows it to easily glide under couches, tables, and other furniture, cleaning areas other vacuums might miss. The secret to this compact design lies in the integration of the LDS (Laser Distance Sensor) into the body of the robot, eliminating the need for a bulky sensor on top while maintaining its performance.
In terms of suction power, the Saros Z70 is a powerhouse, boasting an impressive 22,000Pa suction—far surpassing earlier models that offered around 3,000-4,000Pa. This makes the Saros Z70 one of the most powerful robot vacuums on the market, ensuring a deep and effective clean. Additionally, the vacuum comes with Roborock’s innovative AdaptiLift Chassis, allowing it to easily climb over thresholds and small obstacles, although it’s not quite capable of handling stairs.
For these reasons, the Roborock Saros Z70 was awarded AndroidHeadlines’ Best of CES 2025, a recognition it truly deserves for pushing the boundaries of what robot vacuums can do.
