Recently, CICC released a research report on sweeping robots, which deeply analyzed the current situation and future trends of the industry. The report analysis believes that the industry is facing the dual challenges of technological innovation and market pattern evolution. At the same time, it predicts that driven by AI and robotics technology, sweeping robots will usher in a new stage of product iteration and morphological evolution.
The report mentioned that the domestic sweeping robot market will continue to maintain strong demand in 2025, thanks to the “quality-price ratio” product trend and the stimulation of national policy subsidies. At the same time, the price reduction of overseas leading brands may accelerate market clearance. With the development of AI technology and the spillover effect of robotics technology, the product iteration and morphological evolution of sweeping robot companies are expected to accelerate, thereby enhancing the company’s long-term valuation center.
AVC data shows that in 2024, China’s omni-channel retail sales of sweeping robots will increase by 41% year-on-year to 19.4 billion yuan, and retail volume will increase by 32% year-on-year to 6.04 million units. This growth is mainly due to the superposition effect of national subsidy policies and Double Eleven discounts, as well as the transformation of annual new products to quality-price ratio.
The CICC team believes that as leading brands continue to launch products with high quality-price ratios and lower the price range, it is expected to stimulate further growth in the number of sweeping robots in overseas markets. At the same time, driven by AI and robotics technology, the sweeping robot industry will usher in more innovation and development opportunities.
