The Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce and 11 other departments announced the “Implementation Rules for Jiangxi Province to Expand the Scope of Consumer Goods Trade-in in 2025” (hereinafter referred to as the “Rules”), covering the subsidy scope and standards, subsidy application methods and review procedures for multiple fields such as automobiles, electric bicycles, home appliances, digital products, home decoration and kitchen and bathroom.
Some “National IV” vehicles are scrapped with subsidies
In terms of automobile scrapping and renewal, qualified National IV emission standard fuel passenger cars are included in the scope of old cars that can apply for scrapping and renewal subsidies. For scrapping qualified old cars and purchasing new energy passenger cars, a subsidy of 20,000 yuan will be provided; for scrapping qualified fuel passenger cars and purchasing fuel passenger cars with a displacement of 2.0 liters or less, a subsidy of 15,000 yuan will be provided.
Individual consumers enjoy government subsidies in the way of purchasing the car first and then applying for it. Eligible consumers should log in to the website of the National Automobile Circulation Information Management System or search for the “Automobile Trade-in” applet (hereinafter referred to as the “National Automobile Trade-in Platform”) through platforms such as Alipay, Douyin, WeChat, and Cloud QuickPass to submit application materials.
The maximum subsidy for car replacement and renewal is 15,000 yuan
In 2025, individual consumers who transfer old passenger cars registered in their own names and purchase new passenger cars in Jiangxi will be given a one-time subsidy. The subsidy standard is divided into four levels according to the purchase price of the new car (the total price and tax of the car purchase invoice amount): for new cars priced below 50,000 yuan (not included), the subsidy is 5,000 yuan; for new cars priced between 50,000 yuan (inclusive) and 100,000 yuan (not included), fuel passenger cars are subsidized by 8,000 yuan, and new energy passenger cars are subsidized by 10,000 yuan; for new cars priced between 100,000 yuan (inclusive) and 200,000 yuan (not included), fuel passenger cars are subsidized by 10,000 yuan, and new energy passenger cars are subsidized by 12,000 yuan; for new cars priced above 200,000 yuan (inclusive), fuel passenger cars are subsidized by 13,000 yuan, and new energy passenger cars are subsidized by 15,000 yuan.
Individual consumers enjoy government subsidies in the way of purchasing the car first and applying for it later. Eligible consumers should submit application materials by logging into the provincial service platform’s automobile replacement and renewal area, including applicant identity information, applicant bank account information, old car transfer information, and new car purchase information.
Electric vehicle trade-in subsidies up to 600 yuan
In 2025, individual consumers who sell scrapped old electric bicycles and exchange them for qualified new electric bicycles in Jiangxi will be given a subsidy of 500 yuan, of which consumers who sell old lithium-ion battery electric bicycles and buy lead-acid battery electric bicycles will receive an additional subsidy of 100 yuan. During the implementation of the policy in 2025, the same new car will not enjoy subsidies repeatedly, and each consumer will enjoy no more than 2 subsidies.

Consumers should log into the provincial service platform’s electric bicycle area and fill in and submit application materials clearly, completely and accurately, including applicant identity information, applicant bank account information, old car information, and new car information.
Printers, sweeping robots, etc. are included in the scope of home appliance subsidies
In 2025, individual consumers who purchase refrigerators (including freezers, ice bars), washing machines (washer-dryers, etc.), televisions, air conditioners (including central air conditioners), computers (including desktops, notebooks), water heaters (including electric water heaters, gas water heaters, air-energy water heaters, solar water heaters, etc.), household stoves (including integrated stoves, combination stoves, smart stoves, gas stoves, electromagnetic stoves), range hoods and other 8 types of home appliances (all must have a unified national standard 13-digit product code) with level 2 energy efficiency or water efficiency standards will be subsidized at 15% of the final transaction price of the products; for the purchase of the above 8 types of home appliances with level 1 energy efficiency or water efficiency standards, a subsidy of 20% of the final transaction price of the products will be given.
From the date of issuance of the “Detailed Rules”, individual consumers who purchase printers, sweeping robots, floor scrubbers, dryers and other 4 types of home appliances (all must have a unified national standard 13-digit product code) will be subsidized at 15% of the final transaction price of the products.
Each consumer can subsidize 1 item of each of the above products (up to 3 items of air conditioners per person), and the subsidy for each item shall not exceed RMB 2,000. Individual consumers can enjoy government subsidies immediately by paying and deducting the amount. The subsidy funds will be paid in advance by participating merchants and claimed later.
