SwitchBot, renowned for its innovative smart home devices, showcased a new lineup of products at CES 2025, headlined by the K20+ Pro multitasking household robot. Designed to handle a wide range of tasks, including vacuuming, air purification, home security, and even snack delivery, the K20+ Pro seeks to consolidate multiple single-purpose devices into one modular system. Powered by the FusionPlatform, it offers extensive customization options, allowing users to add attachments and expand its capabilities. With seamless integration into the SwitchBot ecosystem and compatibility with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, the K20+ Pro aims to redefine convenience in smart homes when it launches later this year in various configurations.
Complementing the K20+ Pro is the SwitchBot Floor Cleaning Robot S20 Pro, an upgrade to the popular S10. The S20 Pro boasts powerful 15,000 Pa suction, a dual-extension design for tackling edges and corners, and self-cleaning mops enhanced with high-temperature drying. Available with an all-in-one base station, including an optional auto-refill system that connects to mains water, the S20 Pro ensures hands-free operation for extended periods. Fully Matter-compatible and backward-compatible with the S10’s water station, it combines performance and flexibility, solidifying SwitchBot’s standing in the robot vacuum market.
SwitchBot also revealed upgrades to its smart security offerings, including the Lock Ultra and Video Doorbell. The renter-friendly Lock Ultra retrofits most existing locks, offering 16 unlocking methods, including fingerprint recognition and app control, alongside AES-128 encryption for robust security. Meanwhile, the Video Doorbell features 2K ultra-HD video, AI motion detection, and up to 512GB of local storage, eliminating subscription fees. Both devices integrate with voice assistants and are Matter-compatible, further enhancing SwitchBot’s ecosystem. With these innovations set to launch in Q2 2025, SwitchBot continues to push the boundaries of smart home technology.
