Karcher India, the subsidiary of German cleaning solutions giant Karcher, has launched an innovative range of products tailored for both consumer and industrial markets. The lineup includes robotic vacuum cleaners like the RCV3 and RCV5, with plans to debut the compact and advanced RCV2 soon. Additionally, the company introduced the KIRA B 50, an autonomous scrubber-dryer for commercial spaces like airports and malls, and the KIRA CV 50, an autonomous cordless vacuum.
To address industrial cleaning, Karcher launched the BDS 43/165 single-disc machine, offering robust capabilities for demanding applications. A scrubber specifically designed and manufactured in India was also unveiled, underscoring the company’s local focus.
AI and Localized Innovations
CEO Hartmut Jenner announced plans to integrate AI capabilities into Karcher’s autonomous products, enabling features such as automatic floor-type detection and enhanced cleaning efficiency. Jenner highlighted India as a key growth market, with aspirations to increase the country’s contribution to global revenue from the current 1% to 10% in the coming years.
Karcher India is expanding its reach by establishing branch offices to enhance customer support and plans to achieve double-digit growth rates. The company is also diversifying its product portfolio with the addition of detergents and further enhancements to its cleaning solutions.
Cultural and Infrastructure Contributions
Karcher India has actively participated in preservation and cleaning initiatives across cultural landmarks, including Ayodhya, Varanasi, and Delhi. In Navi Mumbai, its industrial sweepers were deployed to improve cleanliness on Palm Beach and Vashi Roads. Bangalore Airport, ranked among the cleanest airports in India, credits part of its success to Karcher India’s rental solutions, which have become a significant growth driver.
