With an impressive Net Trust Quotient Score of 115.9, Dyson outperformed all other major vacuum brands, securing the top position for the seventh year running.
The study, which surveyed 7,073 U.S. consumers over the past year, reinforces Dyson’s strong reputation for trustworthiness and reliability in the vacuum industry. The rankings also featured other respected names, including Bissell, Hoover, Shark, Miele, Electrolux, Oreck, Eureka, Samsung, and Dirt Devil.
The findings of the 2025 study highlight the importance of key factors that influence consumers’ vacuum purchasing decisions. Trustworthiness is seen as the most critical attribute, with shoppers favoring brands known for consistent quality and performance. Innovation also plays a major role, with many consumers opting for brands that offer advanced technology to improve cleaning efficiency. Positive customer satisfaction, exceptional service, and a strong brand reputation also weigh heavily in their decision-making. Additionally, the study found that longevity and heritage matter to many buyers, who often gravitate towards brands with a proven history of success.
