Cleaning the home may never be anyone’s favorite task, but with the right tools, it becomes a lot more manageable. The Tineco Floor One Switch S6, a versatile cordless vacuum, offers both powerful suction and mopping capabilities, making it a standout choice for efficient cleaning. However, at its original price of AU$999, it’s not an easy sell. Fortunately, a hefty 36% discount at Amazon brings the price down to AU$638.98, making it much more accessible.
But does this mean I would recommend the Switch S6? Not quite. For my recommendation, I’d point you towards the regular Tineco Floor One S6, which has received an even larger 41% discount, reducing its price to AU$528.98 for a limited time.

The Tineco Floor One S6 is an exceptional floor washer that combines strong suction power with mopping abilities, working simultaneously to leave hard floors sparkling clean. Offering up to 35 minutes of runtime, it should cover most cleaning tasks in one go. A self-cleaning cycle ensures the foam roller head remains in top shape for the next use.
Why I Recommend the Tineco Floor One S6 Over the Switch S6
In my review of the Tineco Floor One Switch S6, I found that the regular vacuum head attachment didn’t perform as well as expected. While it was good at picking up smaller debris like crumbs and fluff from rugs, it struggled with larger particles, such as rice, which would just fall back out.
However, the main wet/dry vacuum unit, or floor washer, has been an absolute game-changer for me. With most of my floors being hardwood or tiles, I can clean the entire apartment in no time. The Tineco Switch S6 even gets close to baseboards, ensuring every edge is cleaned. The iLoop sensor technology automatically adjusts suction power when it detects tougher messes, and it really does work as promised.
The vacuum is also comfortable to use, with an ergonomic handle and easy maneuverability, despite its weight. The self-clean cycle is incredibly efficient, blasting the roller head with hot water and drying it as well. After each cleaning session, I was amazed at the dirt it collected, proving that even seemingly clean floors had plenty to be cleaned.
However, it’s worth noting that the vacuum struggles to tilt to a low angle, making it difficult to clean under furniture or vanity units. Additionally, the width of the main cleaning head can prevent it from reaching smaller nooks and crannies around the house.
If you already have a vacuum for carpets and use a traditional mop for hard floors, the Tineco Floor One S6 will save you a significant amount of time. It’s a fantastic tool that consolidates both mopping and vacuuming in one device. While the regular price of AU$899 is a bit steep, the current 41% discount makes it an easy recommendation.
