The idea of a robot vacuum transforming into a stick and hand vacuum is not as absurd as it sounds. Most reviewers of robot vacuums suggest having a cordless stick vacuum for areas that robots can’t reach, such as along skirting boards, under low furniture, or in the car. The Eufy E20 gives you the benefit of both without needing to have multiple devices around the house.
For example, while my Roborock Saros 10R takes care of my downstairs area, the Eufy E20 has been used upstairs to clean my carpeted bedrooms and hallway. While it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing vacuum, its functionality more than compensates for its appearance. The extra height is necessary to accommodate the removable hand vacuum module, but it can still fit under most furniture.
The robot comes with controls on the unit itself, allowing you to adjust suction power, return to the dock, or start vacuuming. However, the black-on-black icons on the buttons are hard to read unless the lighting is perfect. For better control, you’ll likely use the Eufy Clean app.

- LiDAR Technology: Like most modern robot vacuums, the Eufy E20 uses LiDAR navigation, ensuring it maps your home quickly and moves around obstacles with ease.

- Rug Traversing: Unlike many robot vacuums, the Eufy E20 easily navigates thin rugs without getting stuck, making it ideal for homes with multiple types of flooring.

The Eufy E20 comes with an advanced filtration system consisting of five cyclone structures that claim to capture up to 99.7% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, including dust, bacteria, pollen, hair, and even fleas. This makes it a great choice for those with allergies or sensitivities to dust.
