Moss is the nightmare of many gardeners, as it can take over all corners of the garden, such as patios, lawns, and hedges. Luckily, there is a quick way to remove moss that doesn’t require a pressure washer.
Pressure washers may seem like the go-to solution for patio moss removal; however, improper use can actually damage the surface of your patio. Rafi Friedman, CEO of Coastal Luxury Outdoors, and Delah Gomasi, Managing Director of MaidForYou, suggest using white vinegar as an affordable and easier way to remove patio moss. “The great thing about removing moss from paving stones and outdoor areas is that it’s very environmentally friendly,” explains Delah.
“It’s as simple as spraying a mixture of 65% water and 35% vinegar on the areas you want to remove the moss. Wait a few days until the moss turns brown, then use a stiff-bristled brush to remove the moss from your patio, balcony, or garden paving stones.”
