Kenton city officials, led by Public Works Superintendent Tim Castle, celebrated the arrival of a new street sweeper alongside colleagues Brent Moore and Jeff Prater.
“We are very eager to commence street cleaning operations. This has been a long-awaited improvement,” remarked Castle.
The initiative aims to enhance the cleanliness and appearance of Kenton’s streets, curbs, and gutters while preserving the city’s stormwater management and street infrastructure.
A comprehensive cleaning schedule is currently in development and is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
“This effort requires the cooperation of all citizens to ensure unrestricted access to our streets and curbs,” emphasized Mayor Lynn Webb. “We are strategically investing in our city’s future. This sweeper is a testament to our commitment to maintain and enhance our community for future generations.”
