Portronics has officially launched its first vacuum cleaner, the Mopcop, marking its entry into the home appliance sector. Designed to offer a cost-effective and efficient cleaning solution, the Mopcop aims to bridge the gap between traditional brooms and larger, more expensive vacuum cleaners. Its compact, cordless design positions it as a practical alternative to conventional corded models.
Equipped with a powerful 8000Pa suction capability, the Mopcop features various nozzles suited for a range of surfaces, including car interiors, carpets, upholstery, and hard floors. The vacuum cleaner incorporates an eco-friendly HEPA filter, which traps dust and allergens to prevent them from circulating and exacerbating respiratory conditions. This washable and reusable filter underscores the product’s commitment to sustainability and ease of upkeep.
Jasmeet Singh, Founder and Director of Portronics, expressed enthusiasm about the new launch: “We are thrilled to introduce our inaugural vacuum cleaner, marking our entry into the household appliance market. This launch highlights our commitment to delivering innovative and reliable solutions that enhance our customers’ daily lives. The Mopcop is competitively priced, making high-quality home appliances accessible to a broader audience.”
The Mopcop also includes a built-in LED light, designed to illuminate dark corners and areas beneath furniture for more thorough cleaning. Additionally, the vacuum cleaner features a rechargeable battery, promising extended usage without frequent recharges.
Currently, the Portronics Mopcop is available for purchase on the company’s official website at an introductory price of Rs 1,399, and it comes with a 12-month warranty.
