Released in early 2023, the Tineco Floor One S7 Pro has quickly established itself as a top contender in the mop vacuum category, thanks to its advanced motorhead and enhanced features. This high-end model represents a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the Floor One S5 Combo.
A standout feature of the S7 Pro is its innovative motorhead design, which now includes a mop roller that extends to both edges, offering what is known as dual-edge cleaning. This design enables the vacuum to effectively clean along baseboards and beneath cabinets from any angle, minimizing the residual dirty strip often left around room perimeters. Although the roller does not reach completely flush with baseboards, it achieves an impressive proximity of about a quarter inch, a notable improvement over many mop vacs that lack edge-cleaning capabilities.
In addition to its enhanced cleaning design, the Floor One S7 Pro boasts more sophisticated smart features compared to the S5 Combo. Setting up the device is straightforward: after the initial charge, a guided video tutorial appears on the LED screen, which also displays cleaning mode, battery level, and maintenance alerts. Once the clean water tank is filled with water and solution, the S7 Pro’s self-propelling motor makes operation nearly effortless.
The S7 Pro excels in performance, delivering superior cleanliness and drying results for hard floors compared to other models tested. It offers a 40-minute runtime on a single charge, double that of the Floor One S5 Combo. This extended battery life is partly attributed to Tineco’s iLoop sensor technology, which intelligently adjusts suction power, roller speed, and water flow based on detected wet and dry messes, optimizing power usage.
Post-cleaning maintenance is simplified with the S7 Pro’s built-in cleaning cycles for the brush roller, offering “quick” or “super” options. The vacuum charges on a dock that includes additional storage for the provided cleaning brush and spare microfiber roller. The package also includes a cleaning brush, an extra HEPA filter, and a small bottle of cleaning solution concentrate, requiring only a capful per tank refill.
